RODEO FUN WITH KASEY ARNOLD

Hi there! I want to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Kasey Arnold and I am so excited to be joining the staff at Pleasant Valley Ranch! I have been riding horses and competing in horse shows since I was two years old. I showed English until I was 8 years old and switched gears to running barrels and roping when I was 9. I started my rodeo career in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Rodeo Association which I was a part of for 10 years and I competed in the Pennsylvania High School Rodeo Association from 2000-2004. I have been casually competing in open rodeos and reined cow horse shows while I have been in college. I am now graduating from Lebanon Valley College in May with a dual degree in English Communications and German. My entire life has been devoted to learning the mechanics of horsemanship and the ins and outs of the equestrian world. My parents, who also have careers in the horse business, have given me every opportunity to expand my knowledge and advance my education in horsemanship. My mother, Pam, trains thoroughbred race horses at Penn National Race Course and my father, Dale, is a blacksmith and farrier specializing in corrective shoeing for performance horses. With their help, I have attended numerous horsemanship, reining, barrel racing, and roping clinics with some of the world’s best riders and competitors. I have taken hundreds of lessons and I have traveled all over the country to compete and ride with professionals in the equestrian business. I am very excited to be able to incorporate things that love and the things I have learned into my career. I am also excited to be able to share those things with everyone at Pleasant Valley Ranch! For the past few months Mark and I have been working together on a new and exciting program that will allow you to enjoy the importance of horsemanship and the excitement of the sport of rodeo! Watch for upcoming events, clinics, and shows coming this spring and summer!
