Welcome to Pleasant Valley Ranch. We are located in the serene Pleasant Valley of New Ringgold, PA. Here at the ranch, we offer a wide variety of equine activities such as horseback riding, horseback riding lessons, horse rental Pa., horse guided trail rides, two hour moonlight horse ride, hay rides and campfire rides. Our specialty ranch and horse services include ranch-style birthday parties Pa., ranch activities for Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops Pa., off-site pony rides for birthday parties or fundraisers in Pa., We offer pony rides in New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware and medieval weddings with our black Percheron draft horses. Cinderella has done Indian wedding ceremonies all over Pennsylvania and Indian wedding ceremonies in New York, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. We are an educational equine ranch where you will be made comfortable on your horse through one-on-one horseback riding instruction before venturing out on trail rides. Our trail rides extend over hundreds of acres of land with beautiful views of valleys and walks through both wooded areas and open fields. For a twist on the trail rides, sign up for one of our monthly two hour moonlight horseback trail rides which leave just before sunset and conclude under lighted paths by the full moon. Our ranch birthday parties include an educational barn tour, fun with whips and lassos, a tractor-pulled wagon ride, hands-on time with the trail horses, a lively game of tug-o-war, and of course, pony rides. Can’t make it out to our facility? No problem. Whether you live in Lehighton, Orwigsburg, Pottsville, Jim Thorpe, Tamaqua, Hazleton, Scranton, Reading or Allentown Area, we’ll bring the horses and party to you! If you are considering horseback riding summer camp in Pa. for furthering your child’s knowledge of horses, our summer camps include both mounted and un-mounted lessons in which children are educated about the basics of western horsemanship. They will learn to groom the trail horses, tack trail horses, lead horses, and trail ride their horses confidently by the end of the week. If your not a horseback rider but love to spectate rodeos and horseback riding shows? We are pleased to welcome rodeo spectators and youth rodeo participants from Schuylkill County and beyond to our evening summer fun shows held outdoors in our large outdoor riding arena. Bull Riding & Bull Fighting Schools

April 2011

 

 PVR’s Spring Bull Riding & Bull Fighting Schools are open to first-time riders or fighters as well as those who have years of experience.  Participants must be 8 years of age or over.  Steer and Junior Bulls can be made available for younger riders or students who are interested in a more beginner-friendly experience.  All necessary equipment will be available for rent ($25/school) or purchase. 

 

Bull Riding Instructor: Chris Prange  

Chris has competed for 16 yrs riding in 24 states and Canada. He is currently in the IBR, IPRA, ABT, Hardway, and Bullride Mania standings.  For more on Chris see  www.brindlebeater.com.

School Schedule

Friday, April 15th: 5pm-9pm or at teacher discretion

Saturday, April 16th: 12pm-6pm or at teacher discretion

Sunday, April 17th: 10am, Amateur Show at 2pm

 

School Fees

  • $350/student for either school
    • $150 non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot
    • $200 balance due before start of the school

 

  • Early Deposit Discount- $300/student
    • save $50 if entire payment is received before March 1st, 2011
